I watched Front Page last night and there was dead silence at the end of the show when Mr. Gideon was fired after Jo's actions. I like how there is not always happy endings. Is there any other episodes where this happened?

On a side note, no school newspaper will allow a 15 year old to publish an article without adult approval. Where was the faculty advisor?

No idea, but maybe "Breaking Point"?

He was in jail, after being BUSTED IN A COCAINE RAID.

I remember 3 episodes that end in dead silence:
Breaking Point in s2 (as Retro said before me)
Front Page in s3 (as you said before me)
With a Little Help From My Friends in s6

This would have been a good role for Molly rather than Jo. Didn't Molly mention something about the press in her never broadcast lines with Natalie in the New Girl, Part 2?

We never seen Jo interested in journalism before this episode.

You're absolutely right about that: JO's SUDDEN interest in journalism seemed very much out of order!!!!!:wazzup:wazzup:wazzup:wazzup:wazzup:wazzup:wazzup:wazzup:wazzup:wazzup:wazzup:wazzup:wazzup:wazzup:wazzup

Good memory! Yes, Molly says, "Gee, I feel terrible the way you guys are being treated. Do you want me to lea the story to the press?"

It seems as though she would leak the story in The Eastlander. Was she writing for the paper?

It would have been cool to see Molly in the Journalism class, much like Cindy and Sue Ann. but I can't imagine Molly getting Mr. Gideon fired. That doesn't feel very Molly-like.
