In the episode "Have Gun, Will Sell", the burglar accidentally drop his gun while trying to steal at Sanford. So he came back the next day burglarizing Sanford and leave behind a note listing items he took.

I find it funny that a burglar actually took the time to sit down and make note of items he is taking. Burglars in real world usually do a quick in and out and don't hang around making a list of inventory of items they are taking :D
