Why do the Brady Bunch Fans hate this show so much. Mainly that person name Lucyfan. She/He called The Cosby show a ripoff of The Brady Bunch.

How the hell is this show a rip off of the Brady Bunch?? I've seen this show and its not a rip off! I think once you become a Brady fan your mind goes dumb. Did this show get more ratings and popularity than The Brady Bunch? Some Brady fans need a life.

I'd say Cosby was more popular.. it ran for eight seasons and was number one in the ratings for I don't know how many years.. a majority of the series run. Cosby show is 10 times better than the Brady Bunch and very original, not a rip off at all. TCS was something that had never been done before and worked wonderfully.

The Cosby Show was the number one show five seasons in a row. A record unbeaten. It also got ratings that the networks hadn't gotten for 30 years.

I dont know if this can reflect on all brady bunch likers, but that guy on the brady bunch board who said the cosby kids are unattractive, but the brady bunch kids are, is nothing more than a bigot, that is confused in the head.

I agree. The Cosby show is different from the Brady Bunch. I don't think the Cosby show is a ripoff.

No one is blaming you Michelle. You have every right to like both shows, and I doubt LucyFan speaks for any fans other than himself! LucyFan has caused several problems by saying mean things about several shows. I seem to remember a fight at the Facts of Life board started by this guy as well! I don't see how any logical person, Brady-fan or not, could compare The Brady Bunch to The Cosby Show. The only similarity is that they are both about families. You might as well say The Brady Bunch is a rip-off of Leave It To Beaver. I think there were kids and parents on that show as well! LOL!

I must say that I do agree with you all that there is something bigoted about saying that the Brady Bunch kids are attractive and the Cosby kids are not.

As a sidenote, LucyFan is the same person who asked everyone what their "race' is at the chit-chat board a few months ago.

The Cosby show is nothing like the Brady Bunch. In the Cosby Show,the kids were Cliff's and Clair's,in the Brady Bunch the girls were Carol's and the boys were Mike's. The Huxtables didn't have a maid,the Bradys did. Both Cliff and Clair had careers;Mike had a career,Carol didn't,she just shopped all the time. The Cosby show covered more teenage issues than the Brady Bunch did and plus the Cosby Show ran longer.

LucyFan is just a racist that needs to be taught some things about people.....and I say he's a racist for more reasons than one, he's posted topics like, "what if chrissy (from three's company) was with a black man", asked everyone what their race was, and said that someone on this board could have a reason to be racist, cuz maybe he was raped by a black man, among other things, and he also said, that he thought black people were unattractive. No, not all Brady Bunch fans are like this sad person.

Very messed up, that "Lucyfan!" I can tell she isn't at all into anything made after 1979. Why, we will never know. My advice to her is that she better get used to hearing that things after 1979 were a lot better than they were before. The Bradys were not that funny at all. The family was too perfect! Still, just because Brday fans hate this show does not mean that things are perfect. I do not like the Brady Bunch at all. If you want to see a really good family comedy, I suggest, Lucyfan that you check out the Hogan Family, The Cosby Show, and Family Ties.

If so, that makes it weirder why a guy would even think about justifying someone being racist because they were raped by a black man (it's like- why would he even be thinking about such a thing?).

Yea, he's still a guy. If he had a million dollars, he said he's go along with a sex change. He stated that on teh Chit Chat board. But right now, he's still a guy.

But I agree that TCS is not a rip-off of TBB. :)
