Mon-Friday schedule - all times Eastern.

Move Bonanza to 12Noon. Replace The Waltons. The Waltons is already heavily exposed on one of the Hallmark channels already, but can be aired on weekends.

Move The Flintstones to 2pm in Bonanza's old time slot.
Add The Jetsons @ 2:30pm.

Add A Different World Hour @6pm
Dump daily M*A*S*H, and acquire Home Improvement. Snatch it away from Laff. @7pm for 1 hour.

Two somewhat more current but still family friendly sitcoms could help MeTV from being viewed as GeezerTV. ADW can help in efforts for diversity.

Run Happy Days / Laverne & Shirley at 9pm hour
Move Gomer Pyle to 10:30pm replacing one Hogan's Heroes episode.

Like to see the Jetsons added to the Sunday morning schedule alongside the Flintstones. Stone age meets the space age. Eventually, I would like to see them add Scooby Doo and other popular Hanna Barbara properties to Sunday morning. With the EI standards finally being relaxed, Saved by the Bell will hopefully be retired.

I would prefer the animated shows be scheduled for Saturday mornings, but I can't see ME removing any shows from the Western round up block. I figure Collector's Call will go on hiatus for the Fall, so the 9:30(after the 2hr Columbo movie rotation) and 10:00 pm schedule might open up for more classic sitcoms. I love Lucy would fit in with the other classic B&W sitcoms.

Munsters

Early Edition

Jetsons (Pair up with The Flintstones).

Dump:

Hogan's Heroes.

Put something in front of Svengoolie instead of the 3 Stooges.

Dump the Love Boat and Saved by the Bell.

The Munsters is on Cozi, plus it's on Peacock streaming. I'd assume its NBC exclusive. Saved By The Bell seems like it's just there for the E/I requirement.

I agree it could dump Hogan's Heroes, as it's been overplayed but it's on Sundance. Jetsons would be a good pair up with the Flintstones.

I don't have an issue with The Love Boat though, but maybe it could be moved over to sister station Decades and run M-Fri, for awhile.

Yeah, I know the Munsters are on Cozi, I was just doing a "If you could get anything you wanted" schedule.

I'd drop "Saved by the Bell" and put "Early Edition" there in a heartbeat.

Everyone seems to agree Hogan's Heroes needs to go - ha haaaa!

For some reason, they have made "Columbo" unwatchable. Scene, commercial, scene commercial.

MeTV is pretty good about limiting commercials, but wow - Columbo!!!!

I agree the Jetsons would pair well with The Flintstones, but there really aren't many episodes. If you exclude the 1980s episodes, there really aren't enough.

The 1962 episodes were remastered in HD for Blu-Ray. They'd look good on CN but that's a lost cause.

The Waltons just started Jan 1 and hasn't finished one cycle through yet, they will probably finish getting all the way through season 9 around November or so. I do like Home Improvement but not too interested in seeing anything from the 1990s or later on MeTV, even the 80's is a bit too recent for my taste. I'd love to see some of the old 70s Saturday morning kids shows, like the Krofft Shows or Shazam/Isis or anything Hanna Barbera. Wonderful World of Disney would be awesome!

Some great suggestions in this thread like Eight Is Enough, CHiPs, Fantasy Island, Spenser For Hire, The Dukes Of Hazzard, and The Streets Of San Francisco.

Once Mork and Mindy, Family Ties, and Wings contracts with Antenna end they should come to Me. Also they should put back on Taxi, Odd Couple, and Cheers since they already have the rights too them. Also they could add an African American block with Sister Sister, Moesha, The Parkers, and Everybody Hates Chris even if they are 90s and 2000s since they are all owned by CBS Paramount and that’s where most of their programming comes from.

Another poster also mentioned Early Edition. They have the rights to it as well and sister channel Decades is having a binge marathon of it this weekend. I think it was previously on the main schedule of one of their other sister channels either Heroes and Icons or Start, but I don’t remember which one. Maybe their just resting it now. And as I’ve said plenty of times, yes Hogan’s Heroes definitely needs to go. Not a fan of it and it’s been hogging the same spot way too long.

The same voice cast was still intact for the 80's revival. The 80's episodes are still okay to watch.

My request would be ANY 70's or 80's sitcom or drama which hasn't been shown on a diginet yet. I'm tired of all the rehashes. The Waltons was a good start, and is the only thing I currently watch on METV.

I agree.

MeTV's schedule has gotten more staler than a month old loaf of bread that was left uncovered on a kitchen counter top.

I understand that MASH, Andy Griffith Show, Hogans Heroes, Saturday Westerns may get ratings but they are showing the same episodes over and over year after year.

There are a lot of very good 1960s, 1970s, 1980s tv sitcoms and tv shows left by the wayside that could be used to break the monotony of MeTV's scheduling format.

Replace The Parkers with Smart Guy (or any other black show for that matter.) That crap is already overplayed to death on other channels so they definitely don't need to play it on ME TV.
