“I wanted to do a black-and-white episode in the square format,” says Oscar Perkins, who wrote the "You Might Also Like" Season 2 finale featuring the aliens from the classic Twilight Zone episode. “I wanted to use old cameras. I wanted to use bad camera moves and sets where you could see the beams in the walls, to really feel like we were inside of a Twilight Zone episode, so that when the commercial breaks happen it’s easier to see she’s being transported during the commercials.”

Rod Serling's shadow doesn't hang over Twilight Zone Season 2 like it did in Season 1 (https://www.indiewire.com/2020/06/the-twilight-zone-jordan-peeles-reboot-wont-recreate-old-episodes-1234569610/): “There’s a certain bar for the show already,” says executive producer Audrey Chon. “The shadow of Rod Serling and the original series definitely hung over our head (in Season 1)” and it’s something they’ve transitioned away from in this season.
