In the episode "Watts side story", Julio bring home his mother and sister Maria from New York. Right away Lamont ask for date with maria and that night they go out on a date.

I really think Lamont should have waited couple of days before making such a move on Julio sister. Julio seem like he didn't mind, but he also should have weighted her mother feelings about Maria going out with him.

Mother seem to be against it as she did follow them to restaurant where Lamont and Maria were dating. General rule is that never date your friend's relatives. We all know what happen in that movie Scarface with Tony Montana's sister :D

I agree, I would never date anyone who has a connection to my family. One of my mom's coworkers showed interest in me and even though she was attractive I could not do it because I dont like my family involved in my business

You did the right thing. If the relationship went sour with your mom's coworker, you will never hear the end of it from your mom.
