characters enter a room that viewers never saw? For example on the Honeymoomers we always see Ralph and Alice go inside their bedroom but never see it. We only saw the kitchen. Also on What's Happening we only saw the Living and Bedroom but not the Mom's room or the kitchen.

Speaking of Lucy , On I love Lucy we saw every room in Lucy and Ricky's apt. , both of the ones they lived in ! ;) But all we ever saw of Fred and Ethel's apt.was the living room, never the kitchen or bedroom ! ;)

on Dick Van Dyke they only showed Richies bedroom a couple times, and we never saw the bathroom in Rob and Lauras bedroom.

Fred and Ethels bedroom was seen in (can't remember the episode title) but Ethel and Lucy live apart from their husbands and go out to restaurant 21 and you see Lucy and Ethel in Ethels twin bed- bed room. That might be the same episode where Lucy and Ethel are stuck on the roof hollering to Mrs Saunders and Lucy tried to walk a board to get to another building

This is a little off topic, but I thought the original poster was referring to the jailhouse. The cells had no toilet, where did the prisoners relieve themselves? Otis showed up loaded on more than a few occasions, and if that wasn't bad enough there was a water crock right by the cells, that mattress Otis slept on must have been soaked on a regular basis. The only other available space at the jailhouse was the room Barney slept in and it didn't seem to have a bathroom, where did Barney and Andy go?

They showed several people entering the storage basement on Cheers, but never showed the inside.

Getting back on topic, I believe the show Hot l Baltimore may fit the criteria of the question. If I recall correctly, the unique residents of the hotel were seen coming from or going to their rooms, but never in their rooms. All the action took place in the hotel lobby.
