With all the controversy and eliminating anything prior to 1865, The Dixie Chicks are just gonna call themselves "Chicks"...
Why not call yourselves "The Liberal Chicks" or "The Karen Chicks" as we speak?

I think they should just call themselves, "The" and be done with it.
I wouldn't call them "chicks" anyway.puke:

Dear world:
We as Americans wish to say that we are sorry.
We are truly sorry.
We are sorry for this pathetic virtual signaling cult called The (former) Dixie Chicks.
A trio of three disavowing that they came from the Southern part of the United States, when they lied all this time and in fact came from San Francisco. And Seattle. Though it is not clear that they came specifically from the autonomous nation known as CHAZ/CHOP. But with their radical beliefs and contempt for a former U.S. president on the eve of war, you, world, already got that. For that, we as Americans are truly sorry.
And that they claimed they were "ashamed to be Americans" on British soil, which meant we should have left them there. But why inflict such an egregious punishment on our main allies on the other side of the Atlantic? But we digress.
We are sorry that they kept their name for all this time only to renounce it at the last moment because they thought calling themselves Dixie Chicks might get them a few gigs opening for NASCAR races when their popularity dwindled over fifteen years ago, and maybe a few discount coupons at Cracker Barrel. Last time we heard, they took night jobs at Wal-Mart during the sporadic nostalgia tours with other forgotten acts at Lilith Fair reunions. How they survived the throngs at pre-dawn Black Friday sales remains a mystery.
The other mystery as to why they named themselves the Dixie Chicks remains unsolved. We have reason to believe it was some sort of drunken dare at the womyn's college sorority, as some sort of comical barb at Southern culture. According to one taped incident, they reportedly said, "Hey, let's like, pretend we're these redneck girl musicians 'n' stuff! Let's see if the hicks get it!" And this was their ascent to fame and fleeting fortune.
As a result of this embarrassing fiasco of a band embroiled in a name flap, Dixie Riddle Cups have had to renounce their name, as the company no longer wishes to be associated with the once-popular "chick-band".
Once again, world, we are sorry. Sorry for the confusion, for the misleading nature of this excuse of a band.
We hope that you will forgive us.
And world, we don't apologize for Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Yours sincerely, sane and sorry America.

If nothing about them has changed for the better, why should their name be any different?
God bless you always!!!

The frontwoman of the country trio, formally known as The Dixie Chicks, recalled to Howard Stern how their website was bombarded with "racist a**holes" after performing with Beyoncé (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jj1T7uHdBcY) at the 2016 CMA Awards.

I wouldn’t call “March March” a country song anyway.
I think the war of words went much too far on both sides in the early 2000s. there needs to be some apologies.

Once The Second Iraq War happened...we started to become The Divided States of America!
I'm afraid to say this here, but...in the 2000's, I voted for Bush twice and Obama twice...but every time I voted, I'd vote-in a Democrat or Republican Senate or Congressional (man or woman of the House of Representatives).
So...am I bipartisan?
