For those of you who are fans of Tears For Fears you may be surprised to learn that one of their background singers was Oleta Adams who made her solo debut in 1990 with her album Circle Of One and had a hit with a cover of Brenda Russell's Get Here which also was performed by American Idol alum Justin Guarini. Oleta Adams has released many albums and continues to perform today and once you listen to Oleta Adams you will be shocked at her talent

I really enjoy her song Get Here.
I actually discovered Oleta Adams when my mom and I were driving home one day and the song Get Here started playing on the soft rock radio station we listened to and I thought "Who is this woman" and so I started singing along and when the song was over I asked my mom if I could get whichever album had the song Get Here on it. As I was looking for the singer I discovered it was indeed Oleta Adams and Get Here was from her album Circle Of One. Days later I was lucky to find a copy of Circle Of One and own my favorite song Get Here. Oleta Adams now sings gospel music but she released the album All The Love and it's also a cool album as well as her 1993 album Evolution which is worth buying for Oleta's cover of Billy Joel's New York State Of Mind
