Indebted, which marked Fran Drescher's return to network comedy, has been canceled after one season. Jimmy Smits' Bluff City Law and Kal Penn's Sunnyside have also been officially canceled after previous indications that they wouldn't be renewed for a second season.

No surprise. It didn't do any worse than what preceded it in that time slot (I think it actually did slightly better), though it wasn't that great of a show. We tuned in the first couple of shows, but then didn't return.
