I found the following photo on a Facts of Life fan social media group. Can you tell me what they got wrong here?

I know it's obvious to most Facts of Life fans.

The girl that irritates the girls was Margo, not Molly :lol:

That red headed girl here didn't say a single word to Jo. This is a major fail at fandom.

She's probably saying in the pic that women cooking and serving food is so archaic and that she'll never cook or serve anybody but herself!

You aren't far off: she says these girls are chained to the kitchen like galley slaves, and it's anti-woman.

Don't spoil it too much for cfr1970. This episode is not too far in his future.

It's grammatically incorrect, for starters.

I've seen season 2 and know the scene in the photo above is when they're on their first kitchen duty for stealing the van. So there's not too much that can spoil me from now on except for stuff i've forgotten or specific episodes where the Lost Girls appear. But I totally forgot what Needlebutt says above and it's hysterical that my guess wasn't too far off from what she actually says.

But I can't put the blame on poor Needlebutt for it because that's the fault of the writers making her a one note character like that. And I bet anything that Needlebutt roomed with Rock Girl and they got along swimmingly and were pals to the end!

Actually she was one of the more multi-"note" ones of the Lost Girls. Not only was she a feminist, but she was an environmentalist, she was health-conscious, she was a musician, and she was a tech geek. So they lost a LOT when they lost Molly.

(regardless of opinion on the character, I'm just talking about characteristics that were gone once the Lost Girls were gone)

Exactly! I bet that's partly why they chose Molly for this scene over the other Lost Girls. She had the most "character" with this situation.

I wish she had said that---while Blair glares at her and angrily slops mashed potatoes down on her tray for her.

Needlebutt was also going to alert the press, but that line got cut. Allegedly Needlebutt was feuding with Mindy/Natalie. Needlebutt said she didn't think Mindy was very nice.

They weren't feuding. Molly was just pressed to say WHO was the mean girl of season 1, if she HAD to pick one. And she was really having to search hard for an answer, then said questioningly, "I guess Mindy??" and then she did say remembered her not being very nice, and was kind of intimidated by her, but that she's met her since then and she's really a great person.
