View Full Version : Any other Telephone Sitcom Crossovers besides MTM/Rhoda and AITF/Jeffersons?
TVFactFan 06-05-2020, 05:38 PM I stumbled across a telephone crossover today between Rhoda and MTM. Mary called Rhoda to tell her she was in Love while Rhoda was in bed with Joe. And George Jefferson called Mike Stivic to sell him the house next door while he was in his Kitchen
Just wondering if there were any other sitcom phone crossovers in TV history?
I don’t remember the specifics, but I think Happy Days called Laverne & Shirley , or vice versa.

Was that a Ropers episode?
Bonniegirl 06-06-2020, 01:05 PM IDK if this would count because Sam Drucker was in both shows , Green Acres and Petticoat Junctuon ? But Mr. Douglas calling Drucker's store !
I also think on Petticoat Junction a call was made to Granny on The Beverly Hillbillies ?

It's The Roper's episode where Stanley calls the kids to invite them to Helen's surprise birthday party. It actually airs as an episode of Three's Company in syndication though.

No that doesnt count because they came over to their place in the same episode. I was referring to Phone conversations only between two characters from different shows

Well, it was still a telephone conversation between two characters from different shows regardless.
treky 06-07-2020, 02:08 AM there was an episode of RHODA once where Rhoda got engaged and she called Mary Richards to tell her.

Bonniegirl 06-07-2020, 02:27 AM I'm pretty sure Doug from King of Queens talked on the phone with Raymond from Everybody loves Raymond !? I know they hung out together, played golf in an ep. !;)
Dr. Jazz 06-07-2020, 04:32 AM I believe Denise called the Huxtable house a couple times during the first season
Of “A Different World”.
merlinjones 06-07-2020, 09:50 PM Gomer calls Mayberry but only talks to Sarah
Clampetts call Hooterville on several occasions

They talked on the phone, but it was always in an episode Ray was on the show. Never just a phone call (unless it happened on Ray's show)
They also hung out at the Heffernan's with the wives, and went to a night club.
treky 06-10-2020, 01:54 AM I think on Gomer Pyle once they showed Gomer talking on the phone to Andy Taylor once.
