What is everyone's favorite Aaron Spelling drama?

1) Charlie's Angels 1976-81
Charlie's Angels was the best drama in all of television. For the first three seasons (1976-79) the cast had great chemistry. The Angels and Bos were like a family. The fourth season was OK but it was horrible. The last season was terrible. But the first three seasons earned the show my recognition. Stars: Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett-Majors, Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd, Shelly Hack, Tanya Roberts, David Doyle.

2) Hart to Hart 1979-84
Hart to Hart is the one of the greatest mystery shows ever made. Jonathon and Jennifer really loved each other and it really showed. Max was a great friend and housekeeper. He would keep Jen company during the day and would keep Jonahton company at night. He really worked for his money. The Harts were great slueths and they are one of my fave TV couples. Stars: Robert Wagner, Stefanie Powers, Lionel Stander.

3) The Rookies 1972-76
This show really told it like it is. I'm still thanking TVLand for showing it. The characters work so well together. It's another example of how a dramatic show can have some great comedic scenes. Stars: Georg Stanford Brown, Sam Melville, Micheal Ontkean, Kate Jackson.

Well I used to like 2 but since Charmed went down hill by adding Rose McGowan, I don't care for it anymore. So the only Aaron Spelling drama I love is Melrose Place.

"S.W.A.T." was the sequel to "The Rookies", this was yet another victim of the 'PC Brigade'. A real 'kick butt', 'take no prisoners' type of series. This is the only Cop Show that I'm aware of that the 'good guys' did more shooting than the 'bad guys'... A weak rumour is circulating that of a possible remake is in the works.

However, my favourite detective series that happens to be a Spelling Production is "Starsky & Hutch" with it's colourful characters, just loaded on action-drama, some comic-relief and of course that really cool car to boot. They don't make them like that anymore, I mean both the car and the series. :confused:

Beverly Hills 90210 was definately the best! Seasons 4-8 were my personal favorites, but I loved the entire series!

God so many to chose... here are my top ten.

10. Charmed (WB, 1998-present)- While i prefer seasons 1-3 the best this show is still good.


9. Pacific Pallisades (Fox, 1997)- While this show was short-lived, it was certainly enjoyable to watch.

8. Beverly Hills 90210 (Fox, 1990-2000)- God i can't say enough about this show.

7. Sunset Beach (NBC Daytime, 1996-2000)

6. Dynasty (ABC, 1980-1989)- What can i say about one of the greatest shows ever produced.

5. 7th Heaven (WB, 1995-present)

4. Savannah (WB, 1995-1996)- This is one of AS best series ever, it had everything, great acting, great writting and as many twists and turns as a roller coaster

3. Models Inc., (FOX, 1994-1995)- Trashy yes, But it was so fun to watch and why the acting was far from Emmy caliber it was always entertaining, the bitches were the bitchest on tv and the plots were always over-the-top and entertaining.

2. Malibu Shores (NBC, 1996)- Another short-lived series that was just wonderful. it launced the careers of some of today's hottest stars, Keri Russel (felicity), Charisma Carpenter (Buffy/Angel), Christan Campbell (Trick).

1. Melrose Place (Fox, 1992-1999)- This is porbrally the most entertaining and enjoyable show to ever come from Aaron Spelling. Every twist and turn was unexpected and shocking, one of the best series i've ever seen.

Ratings, Ratings, Ratings, SAVANNAH didn't get good ratings and it was canceled.

Beverly Hills, 90210. I looove the show. I especially loved season 8-10, even though they were all great.

yes it was, it was a Melrose Place Spin-off. It lasted from 1994-1995.

Family was a great show by Aaron Spelling. Great cast and powerful storylines. I only wish TV Land would show the repeats. It was enjoyable. Well acted.

The Original versions of Charlies Angels & Dynasty

7th Heaven is the only show that I watched.
