In 1978 Swanson debuted a Hungry Man TV Dinner commercial starring the Los Angeles Dodgers. The commercial featured Steve Garvey and Tommy LaSorda as they sat in the dugout eating their Hungry Man TV dinners for lunch. It's no secret that Swanson TV Dinners were the official lunch of the Los Angeles Dodgers and by featuring Tommy LaSorda in the commercial would make him more famous in commercials starting with the Slim Fast commercials he appeared in the 90's. For baseball fans this commercial is a real collectible treasure
