Rider Strong, Will Friedel, Danielle Fischel, Matthew Lawrence and Trina McGee(!) all participated in live chat about the Halloween scream episode (while William Daniels and Bonnie Bartlett were at first there but only some laughs were heard from Miss Bartlett after seeing Mr. Friedel display a Feeny puppet [and nothing whatsoever from the 93-year-old Mr. Daniels who seemed interested in what was happening] before their Zoom connection got lost within about a minute of starting). This was done to try to raise awareness for DonorsChoose- a charity benefiting teachers and their students affected by the current affliction(and afterwards there was a general live chat for monies to be paid to that charity). Whatever issues between Miss McGee and any other cast members either seemed to have been resolved or they all decided to simply not address them during the simultaneous watch so they comment for the good of the charity benefiting education. It seemed everyone was getting along fine at this time. Miss McGee remembered having to quickly run as Angela was supposed to be fleeing for her life- while heavily pregnant by her then-husband and doing her best to protect their impending baby. This actually gained the belated respect of Miss Fishel who in the last year has had her own baby and decided that pregnant women were best suited for sitting still NOT running. Mr. Friedel recalled that he and the then-hot Jennifer Love Hewitt were an item at the time of the episode's shooting and it wasn't long afterwards that they broke up with neither one contacting each other since AND her never attempting to do another sitcom. Mr. Strong and Miss McGee reflected about how ironic that their doubles were about an inch taller than themselves. Mr. Lawrence seemed to take everything in good humor but said little yet he kept moving his Zoom locale by every so often taking his laptop to different parts of his residence while all the others stayed wherever they'd first set up the whole time. Oh, and Miss Fishel turned out to have had a virtual time capsule of BMW magazines and collectibles that her parents had saved and she showed part of them in the bookcase behind her. Oh, and both Mr. Strong and Mr. Friedel recalled how they kept cracking each other up during the episode's shooting (which was the main reason why Shawn and Eric had very few scenes together since they couldn't stop breaking character and laughing with each other and were besties offscreen). Also Mr. Strong took the time to praise teachers for having to carry on during these conditions since he sympathized having to home school his one kindergarten age son. Lastly, both Mr. Strong and Mr. Friedel showed off how each of them were on the verge of recapturing their long locks they'd had during the late 90's thanks to them being unable to get haircuts due to this affliction (while Mr. Lawrence didn't seem to have any real hair laments but kept a ballcap on during the whole time but did have a fuller goatee than Mr. Friedel while Mr. Strong's full beard eclipsed them both).
I didn't get to see the general live chat (as don't like putting my credit card info out in the 'Net cloud) so I can't comment on that.
