Viewers expressed concern (https://news.yahoo.com/fans-worried-ryan-seacrest-last-152900337.html) for Seacrest last night when toward the end of Idol's chaotic season finale his words seemed slightly slurred and his eye appeared halfway shut (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWEJ-ZWpwqA). Some feared he suffered a stroke (https://www.popdust.com/ryan-seacrest-stroke-2646025210.html). Seacrest's absence from this morning's Live with Kelly and Ryan also raised worries. His rep says, however, not to worry. “Ryan did not have any kind of stroke last night,” the rep told People in a statement. “Like many people right now, Ryan is adjusting to the new normal and finding work-home balance, with the added stress of having to put on live shows from home. Between Live with Kelly and Ryan, American Idol, On Air with Ryan Seacrest, and the Disney Family Singalong specials, he has been juggling three-four on-air jobs over the last few weeks and he’s in need of rest. So today he took a well-deserved day off.”

Ryan Seacrest's team reportedly staged an intervention over his busy schedule (https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/ryan-seacrests-team-staged-work-intervention-to-get-him-to-slow-down/)

Amid concerns that Seacrest's busy schedule has led to exhaustion, Us Weekly reports that his team recently staged an intervention. That included taking time off last month from Live with Kelly and Ryan. Between juggling Live and his daily radio show, Seacrest is getting ready for American Idol auditions. In May 2020, Seacrest looked so out of it (https://www.primetimer.com/item/Ryan-Seacrests-rep-says-he-quot-did-not-have-any-kind-of-stroke-quot-during-the-American-Idol-finale-GdSo26) during the American Idol finale, some viewers feared he had a stroke.
