I still love this show, Raymond Burr was born for this role. If I were ever in trouble, I would want Perry Mason defending me.

I and quite a few people I know love it too. We used to watch it every week that it was on. When I couldn't see it on television anymore, (I don't have cable), I looked all over for tapes of it until I finally was able to get them from Columbia House.

When I was just a kid, we only had air conditioning in my parents room..I would get to sleep on the floor in there from time to time, and in the 1960's Perry Mason aired around 10 PM, so I got to watch the show....My dad also read the books all the time...Loved it every since, but only the black and white series not the movies....

Yeah my mom read all the books too, and I've read a bunch of them.

I've ony seen the later films, with Paul Drake Jnr and then Ken Malansky. They're pretty good though. There's great chemistry with the cast, especially after William R Moses replaced William Katt (which is odd when you consider that William Katt is Barbara Hale's real life son!)

Raymond Burr was always good though, and always seemed to have good chemistry with his co stars. He's particularly good with Don Galloway in Ironside.

Yeah, I liked the PM movies and Ironside too. I liked just about anything with Raymond Burr in it.

I like this show but I don't watch it as much as I want to because of school and the hours it's on. When I do watch it, I enjoy it.

I LOVE this show! I used to plan my college schedule around the 12:05 episodes that used to come on TBS. Perry is Theee Man.

Perry Mason is the best TV lawyer.

I liked the movies, too, but found that Ken Malansky a tad arrogant. Despite that, though, the Perry Mason franchise never faltered.

They should have stopped the PM movies after Raymond Burr's passing, though, as Hal Holbrook could never take his place. There is only one Perry Mason, and that will always be Raymond Burr.

He is the ultimate lawyer. Every time I hear about a lawyer, not just on TV, but in real life. Perry Mason pops in my mind!

I love the the theme music to Perry Mason too. It's catchy!!!

I've watched Perry Mason more in the past year than ever before. I'm totally hooked on it. (Although I don't care much for the episodes where the actor who portrayed Hamilton Burger was fired for a year).

I love PM. I have seasons 1 - 5 and 9 on DVD. Great chemistry between the main actors on the show. Also, if you love PM, get the 50th anniversary dvd as it contains lots of outtakes, screen tests and interviews.

This show has been on forever and I never really got into it. It could be there was always something else on. It always seemed to be courtroom banter as I flipped channels. The funny thing is that I watch an episode recently (November 2016). and watched it from the beginning and got hooked instantly. It was very noir like... I couldn't believe how I missed this all these years since I've been watching TV since the late 50s LOL. The episode I saw was from the 1st season titled "The Case of the Sun Bather's Diary", and noticed it wasn't all courtroom - it seemed more like being in 3 parts where the 1st part is the story line and a murder, or just before the murder - the 2nd part is Perry and Paul doing an investigation for another 20 minutes or so, and then the last part the courtroom. All very dark with moody music... Just awesome. Hopefully most seasons are as good as the 1st since I will eventually get the series on DVD.

Since I now have MeTV, I've enjoyed watching Perry Mason weekday mornings. I have to admit that I like the show but I find it somewhat hard to follow. If you blink, the train of thought is lost.

Yeah ! It is the type of show you really have to sit and watch and sink your teeth in! ;) :D Not the kind of show that you just have on in the background if you are getting ready to go out or up doing cleaning or something!

On at 9AM, I like to curl up on the couch with a nice cup of coffee and watch Perry in the morning if I am up and have the time to watch ! ;)

I love Perry Mason. The cast is excellent. By the way, does anyone know why they got rid of 2 cast members...the detective Anderson, who was on for years, and that law student who appeared in about ten episodes.

Richard Anderson took over when Ray Collins died. Anderson appeared in the remaining Perry Mason episodes.

I vaguely remember the young law clerk. He probably didn't catch on with the audience and was let go. ??

I love it too! I have the first seven seasons' worth in the volume releases, and that 50th Anniversary release, and the Perry Mason Movie Collection.

I have a catalog from Critics Choice Video and it has the Perry Mason complete series on sale for $98.97. That's not a bad price and if I was a Perry Mason fan I'd consider ordering this, but I'm not really into courtroom drama. Perry Mason has good acting, that isn't the problem, I just think the series is dull and uninteresting.

Perry Mason is on ALOT on FETV!!;) If 9AM is too early for you to watch on METV (that was the thing with me, I love this show but sometimes I'm not up yet to watch TV) ! Now that I have FETV , I really get to see PM much more ! I mean it is literally on like about 4 or 5 times a day!!

And besides it being a really interesting, entertaining show, Paul Drake is really handsome!! I've lately been noticing how hot he is !!;)

Mom and I LOVE Perry Mason and we watch it nearly every day on METV and it's fun to guess the outcomes of the cases and I think Raymond Burr was perfect for the role of Perry Mason. I do hope they reboot Perry Mason next because it's a great show

I have most of the run on DVD. In fact, an episode airing now on ME-TV (as I type this, that is) features a character named Kirk Cameron (no, seriously).

My mom would watch the show faithfully when it was on in the 1950"s and 1960's and now I see it 55 to 63 years later, and wonder, How in the heck did she follow along!. No tape players of any kind to go back and rewind or much of reruns for the show ran 39 or so episodes a year. You mostly saw the episode once and that was that.
