I just ordered the complete series from Shout Factory after I just completed the last show of my Seasons 1 and 2 DVD (with that awful Brian and Sylvia episode).

When you say Shout Factory I hope you didn't mean you purchased it direct from their website where it's selling for a whopping $159.99!! (and they try and be clever by crossing out $199.99 to make it look like you're getting a bargain!) :rofl:

Please say you at least bought it off Amazon where it's going for HALF that!! :eek:

I got mine off E Bay and really lucked out with a good copy for $43 bucks---though I haven't played all the seasons yet---but so far 8 & 9 play perfectly.

I got it off Amazon. They wanted $30 just for the season 3 DVD so I thought I might as well get the whole kit.

The package just arrived. I will be at the start of Season 3. There have been some episodes from Seasons 5-9 that I never saw.

Sadly, the complete series DVD set still doesn't include The Facts of Life Reunion movie. It would be nice if this would finally get a DVD release.

It has no relationship with the original writers or producers. You can see it on YouTube.

That's beside the point. It's still part of The Facts of Life series as a TV-movie based on the show and starring most of the original cast. It's nice that someone has put it on Youtube but I would still like to see it get an official DVD release.

Legalities probably get in the way of that.

It's nice to see the Season 1 cast on the cover of the Seasons 1 & 2 DVD.

I suppose there must be some hold up on rights. Hopefully it will eventually get settled. Until then, I'll just have to be content with the copy I taped from its TV airing.
