TMC 08-19-2020, 01:34 AM Does anybody else find the plot for "Cat Story", the live episode of Gimme a Break in Season 4, to be incredibly morbid? In it, Officer Simpson was presumed to have drowned in a flood, after trying to save his cat. This episode aired less than two months before Dolph Sweet succumbed to cancer. It's quite obvious even at the time, that Dolph was really ill at that point. I guess the point here is that it must’ve been strange and very difficult to do a show were you have to act like you are mourning a character, with someone who truly was dying. |
