About twenty minutes ago, I was on my Kindle Fire and right in front of me there was a bright white flash that lasted only a second or two. It was probably lightning like heat lightning, but anybody else have experience with this? Is it something more, like supernatural? Or am I over thinking things?

Maybe it was the light off the TV and the light off of my tablet reflected made for a bright white flash? I have absolutely no idea but that's what I am leaning towards. But it brings to mind a moment where a few years back when I was in middle school there was a morning where there was a bright white flash. It was like somebody snapping a picture with a flash camera, and everyone saw it. It wasn't just me. If somebody can help answering my questions, please do!

It could be ball lightning (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ball_lightning). It is so weird. Here's (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vd2i_yfETYo) an eye-witness report. It's very rare, but many people, including famous authors, scientists, and others, have witnessed it. Aleister Crowley, Laura Ingalls Wilder, and Tsar Nicholas all reported seeing it.

That sounds like a likely explanation for what I saw last night. I haven't seen anything like it since. It was so strange.
