does any one know how many shows lasted back in the 1980s to 1990s? i know now they only last 5 seaons then they canncled them!! Hawaiian five o reboot lasted 10 seaons & cws Arrow lasted 8 seaons!! earlier 2000s cws smallville last 10 seaons!!

If a show was popular, it stayed on the air for many years. All in the Family was on for nine seasons and then Archie Bunkers Place another three so twelve seasons of Bunker. The Jeffersons was on for ten seasons. The show Alice was on for about nine seasons, I think Cheers was about nine seasons and maybe that long for Cosby Show. If people kept watching it like now it was renewed.
