So I just made the connection today that there are 7 colors in the rainbow and 7 original Eastland girls. Kinda like with Rainbow Brite, how there are 7 "Color Kids", each in charge of a specific color of the rainbow, all under the leadership of Rainbow Brite.

So I guess Mrs. Garrett is Eastland's Rainbow Brite, with her 7 girls from 1979 in charge of the colors. :lol: I'd match them up by age/seniority, going like this (your order may differ slightly):

Nancy - Red
Blair - Orange
Sue Ann - Yellow
Cindy - Green
Natalie - Blue
Molly - Indigo
Tootie - Violet
