Between the terrorist attacks and now being the U.S. epicenter of COVID, I am SO OVER NYC. Being on top of each other, crumbling transit system, sky high rents, rotten landlords (in my case) I’m ready to go,

I have relatives in Pgh, have been to Pgh at least 20 times since the 80s, love the city, and when my lease in NYC is up next year I think I’m gonna leave and hitch my post there.

Would love to discuss Pgh with Pittsburghers here-or anyone else for that matter.

Black and Yellow. Say it four times. Pghr’s will know!

I'm a Clevelander...so if you're in Pittsburgh, expect a lot of Cleveland Clowns jokes...but then again...it happens in Cleveland as well.

In the NFL, there's 31 teams...the Clowns aren't one!

Also...I have some relatives in New Castle...Pennsylvania had many Italian-Americans in that region...New York State, New Jersey and New England also have a big Italian-American population at one point.

My great-grandfather grew-up in Western Pennsylvania.

I could start one! But no matter where I live I can still connect to S.O.

Sorry, but I want a better quality of life...and NYC is waaaaay too expensive...and dangerous right now.

MA, this thread was originally intended to be about DISCUSSING Pittsburgh. But since enough folks seemed to be interested in a Pittsburgh A-Z game I started a separate thread on it.

No worries. Like many threads, this took an interesting turn. Didn’t think folks would want an A-Z Game on Pittsburgh, but I’m happy they did!

I live in Pittsburgh and it's lovely. It has the feel of a Big city but also feels small too. I'd be glad to talk Pittsburgh

Totally lovely. Love the hills and the inclines. Are you in the city proper or burbs? I have cousins in Edgewood and Squirrel Hill.

CA is nice to visit, but I want to stay in The Northeast.

Once COVID settles down, I’m going to see if I can be a roommate someplace and live in Pgh 10-12 days at a time and the rest of the month in NY. Totally love Pgh. I will probably live in central Pgh probably Squirrel Hill. Probably not south of the Monagahela as it’s too hilly for me.

And when I do try “living” in a Pgh my first purchase will be a “terrible towel”! LOL

I'm a native Pittsburgher myself, though I now live in Carnegie. Glad to be back posting after a few months. I use a library computer.

It’s a great city! Funny, I don’t know why I thought Carnegie was near the Monagahela River; it’s actually quite a distance south.
