Hi,
I'm not very happy about the Thread Tools > Show Printable Version feature, because it still shows the same number of posts as in normal view (15). Can you please set it to show the archive version of the thread? I think the archive version displays 250 posts in a page. In one thread I was trying to read, it cut down the number of pages from 84 to 5! :happyface If you don't want to do that, would you at least consider upping the number of posts shown in the printable version to something like 40 or 50?
I don't see any option to change the printable version number of posts per page.
Maximum Displayed Posts Before Page Split
The number of posts to display on a thread page in linear or hybrid mode before splitting it over multiple pages. 15
The archive version is designed for Google to quickly scan and index posts. The amount of threads and posts per is set at the default of 250 because it's all text.
There are a few reasons why I would be reluctant to change the normal view which has a default setting of 15 posts per page. It would be fine for the game threads where is not much text. It would be nightmare for any photo threads or any threads with a lot of text. All the avatars, signatures, attachments and everything would have to load. It would probably slow things down quite a bit.
It would also mean a lot less page views, which would make it more difficult to pay for the server than it already has become in recent months especially.

Okay, thanks for reporting back. Do what you have to do for survival, but I've seen other boards with printable versions where the number of posts per page is higher than on the normal version. https://www.pprune.org/ is one example (printable page's posts about twice the normal page's posts), and I think they use the same software.
That looks like a vBulletin, but they have it highly customized. I'm not sure they are using the same version (3.8.11) of the software we have.
I don't see any options for printable in the settings. The thread and printable number of posts per page are tied together in this version.
