I agree that we've gotten more than enough detective shows featuring over-the-hill actors lately. Decades doesn't usually feature binges of shows that are already on their schedule, so that would rule out MTM, Dark Shadows and Donna Reed. I think they did a Brady Bunch binge last year so that could happen in the future. They did one with The Wild Wild West a few months ago after the passing of Robert Conrad.

Wouldn't mind seeing a Hill Street Blues binge one of these weekends.

Matlock be May 30 weekend and TJ Hooker be weekend of May 23 per decades.com schedule.

I like Decades weekday scheduled programming, but I think their weekend marathon blocks of marginal shows (Decades Binge) from the past seem to suit an even smaller audience, and Through the Decades branding is pretentious.

The Jeffersons, featuring a black cast, at 5pm is not part of Television Across the Decades block.

And FIOS in my area refuses to carry Decades, likely because Weigel wants a little fee for the affiliate.

Decades definitely shows way too many dramas on their binges and not enough sitcoms. That said, I wish I still had Decades. Good shows on weekdays and occasional good binges when they do have sitcoms.

Well, there are some Binges to look forward to!

Don't get me wrong -- Decades is probably my most-watched network (tied with Me). Donna Reed, Family Affair, Petticoat Junction, Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart, Dark Shadows, Dick Van Dyke, Dick Cavett -- and now they've added Vega$! I loves me some Dan Tanna! I even like those old movie trailer compilation shows overnight. Thank you, Decades for a class act!

Not so keen on Abbot & Costello though (never was) - there has to be a better lead-in to Dark Shadows. And The Lucy Show needs a long, long rest. Bosom Buddies always promised more than it delivers - hasn't changed.

I watched a lot of Beverly Hillbillies last month - need more sitcoms. Where's Donna Reed for Mother's Day?

There are shows I will revisit about once a year. The cop show Hill Street Blues is one. I just basically saw all seven seasons online. Been a fan of that show since it first aired when I was in high school and I am now 54 and still love it. A very underrated drama with a lot of heart which should get a lot more recognition than it does.

Sitcoms, I saw all the seasons of Soap recently. Soap is one of the most HILARIOUS shows ever made. Seriously. It was also very well made because it was an actual Soap Opera with lots of drama and tragedy in it. Cathryn Damon reminded me of my late aunt, my father’s oldest sister (and Burt sort of like her husband).

I did see the Netflix limited series “Tiger King” when it first came out (during the bad lockdown from Covid) and saw the whole thing in one night (well, all night). I had to see the whole thing. I couldn’t go to bed (at 5 am) without seeing the conclusion.

Michael Warren of Hill Street Blues was a graduate of my dad's old high school (it's been converted into an apartments complex). I haven't seen an episode in many years, so I appreciate your recommendation and will be on the lookout for it.

It would be nice if Decades gave Happy Days some weekend binges- that is, weekends I am off from playing at my church and available to watch a ton of it like I did Beverly Hillbillies weekend (my introduction to this great station). Greatest American Hero weekend sounds good. Taxi/Cheers does as well but with it being Father's Day, not convenient to watch streaming when I am at my parents' house. It is too bad that isn't the weekend of May 22 instead.

Ugh! Nothing Decades airs matters for me if the livestream has a horrible signal that keeps going out in just the few minutes I have attempted to watch today. So much for seeing the start of season 2 on Family Affair. Two days ago signal was great when I saw Petticoat Junction and I Love Lucy. Too good to be true if it was like that all the time. :mad:

We're in the same geographic area, and I have the same occasional trouble trying to receive Decades. But keep checking, it should come back and you will have a strong signal. I think the problem may be weather-related.

I am so tired of this buffering crap! At least I got to see 4 episodes of the Greatest American Hero marathon without much problem today, which is a lot farther than I got with Taxi last week. But the episode that started at 6:00 has been horrible on the livestream. I resent the lucky people who have Decades in their market and can watch it on TV any time. Even if an affiliate ever came to Fort Wayne (yeah right), Comcast would probably treat it as poorly as sister station Me TV and refuse to put it on their lineup despite a bunch of space. :rolleyes:

I was able to see two more Greatest American Hero episodes from 8-10, would have watched until midnight but the 10PM episode was like the one at 6:00. :(

Grr! The livestream quality seems to be even worse than yesterday. I tried watching the 4PM episode, it was as bad as 1PM. :mad:

I’m dissatisfied that there is no Honeymooners binge. Decades said through their Facebook messenger last year that they would do one in 2021. Guess plans changed. I wonder if they will do one on New Yesrs weekend even if it competes with WPIX’s.
