There was a segment on Unsolved Mysteries that I remember about a dad who was Hispanic, possibly. Definitely not African American. He had two young school aged daughters, and he would frequently physically abuse them. In the segment, their teacher had kept them late after school and he went into a rage about it when they got home. I recall that they may have captured him, but I can't remember who it is.
Can anyone help?

Art Silva. I don't believe the segment made it to Amazon/FilmRise, etc. I remember this case well ("Don't blame the teacher!"). While Stack was describing Silva's getaway (with his girlfriend) and recited the license plate number, they showed a closeup of the car used in the reenactment with a copy of the plate on it. He was arrested within a week of the broadcast if I remember correctly (they showed footage of his arrest a week or two later).
here is a link to his case from the unsolved wiki page
