I chatted with my niece (who resides in NYC) via Zoom this afternoon. I am on the other side of the county (Southern California).

My friends and I have a virtual game night via Zoom twice a week, usually on Wednesdays and Fridays.

I call or text my other family/friends regularly.

That's how we've always communicated with far away friends/family even before the pandemic, now we've included those that we normally would have visited in person.

I connect with distant cousins through Zoom.

I don't, but my local library has these sessions that would usually be done there via the Zoom method.
