Yep - if you rely on cable, you’ll never get all the digital substations that are available, since cable systems aren’t required to carry them.

It's good news that Antenna TV is back in Boston though.

A paperclip in the coaxial input could work as an antenna until the you know what is over. Once businesses re open, I'd recommend the Clearstream 2Max, it's a superb indoor antenna. Runs for about $70 at Best Buy.

I don’t know if WCRN is technically a low-power TV station (if it is, many might need more than the paper clip solution). I do know that Antenna TV has affiliated with some low-power stations where they couldn’t get on one of the major stations. They went low-power in San Francisco when they lost the affiliation with KRON.

I’m a big fan of the Clearstreams - I have the 4, though not the current model.

There at times I wish we had Decades, Antenna and bunch of other retro stations, but really all I would do is sit and watch tv. Sometime less is better. I am happy with Cozi, Buzzer and METV. On occasions will bump into I think it JVL and see The Lucy show, Jack Benny and few other oldie shows. I can't sit all day and watch tv. So instead I am here this site which I should be less on for I can sit here for hours too. What a life.

I admit - I feel the same way. How can I consume new content and keep up with it if I’m spending so much of my viewing time on the old stuff.
