I recently discovered actor Tom Baker who appeared in the classic Doctor Who and I would like to know more about him? I do know that he was popular while he was in Doctor Who but I had never seen him in other shows except I learned that he also starred in the Britcom Little Britain later in his career. Is Tom Baker still acting in shows or has he retired from acting to focus on other things?

Hi, Bestie! Tom was one of my favorite Doctors. I don't know what he did after Dr. Who though. He was very funny. Was he one of the longest lasting Doctors? I think he was. Thank you for reminding me of him. I will try to find some episodes with him in them.

Tom's my favorite Doctor.

He appeared quite a bit on TV after leaving Doctor Who. Just a few of the things he did:

Tom's role right after Who was as Sherlock Holmes in the 1982 mini-series version of The Hound Of The Baskervilles.

In the early 90's he played Puddleglum in the series adaption of CS Lewis' The Silver Chair.

His most recent TV work was as the voice of The Bendu in the animated series Star Wars Rebels just from a few years ago.

So Tom Baker's acting career is still going strong? What a surprise that he is also a cartoon voice actor as well. I thought Tom Baker's Doctor Who character was really cool because of his cute scarf and Doctor Who showcased his talent very well. I am so surprised that he is fabulous today and when I saw what Tom Baker looks like today he could easily pass for Bob Barker's twin brother and Tom is excellent as a narrator of Doctor Who audiobooks
