I'm watching the show on Uncle Ollie's and I'm near the end of season 1. Mike and Jean are such a cute couple and so different from how teenage couples are usually written because they aren't silly or stupid. Why did they get rid of Jean and her whole family?

I agree. Jean was the best girlfriend of Mike's, they seemed good for each other. A lot better than the one he eventually winds up marrying.

But as to your question, "Jean", Cynthia Pepper, left the show to pursue STAHH-DOM as star of her own show. During season 2 of My 3 Sons Cynthia was starring in her own sitcom called "Margie". Not to be confused with My Little Margie though. I've seen most all episodes of Margie and the show is supposed to take place in the early 1900's and Margie is a teenager in that time period. The show isn't horrible, it's just not that funny. But Cynthia Pepper is as cute as ever in spite of the show forcing her to wear pigtails which are very stiff and obviously a wig.

Went to Uncle Ollie, I'll say one thing, you have to be a good detective and search under every possibility to find a show. My 3 Sons was nowhere to be found till I discovered a Fred MacMurray icon, buried there was My 3 Sons. Ollie ought to list his shows alphabetically for anyone to find easily without searching hi and lo.
