I have a really dumb question, I have a vague image of a sitcom character in my head but can't remember their name or the show they were on.

He was a very camp guy, stocky with a pony tail and incredibly flared nostrils, had an East European or possibly French accent played a chef, dress designer, photographer or some other camp stereotype. Very given to fits of temper with much eye-rolling and "Dahlings" and the like.

The name of the character was possibly Andre and i'm sure it was a 90's US sitcom, possibly a not very good one. The actor has played a number of similar characters in US shows I think so any guesses might lead me to the right guy.

If anyone can help it will stop me going mad.
