OK I got to thinking about this. George Jefferson's mother, was her first name ever mentioned on the show? I don't remember that it was but maybe it was and I've just forgotten. All I ever remember was George calling her "Mama" and everybody else calling her Mother Jefferson or Mrs. Jefferson. Anybody else know if the character's first name was ever said? Thanks.

Olivia- If I remember correctly it was the episode when her friends were over the Jefferson's apt because she pretended she fell so she would get attention.

That's probably because it was never a reason to hear it on the show unless she received a visit from her girlfriends. So she was going to be mrs jefferson, grandma or mama
