Ralph wore a Superman suit with an "R" on it.
Melvin wore a Superman suit with an "M" on it.
Potsie wore a Superman suit with an "F" on it.

Does anyone else think that the Superman suit to be worn at the Old Simpson House was supposed to be originally by the Fonz?

I wonder if it was a last minute decision of the director or if Henry Winkler expressed his opinion.

Just some food for thought.

It might have been Henry Winkler's decision. Perhaps he thought that a "superman" costume might make the Fonz look uncool for some reason. He probably only could be cool in his black leather jacket. In another episode (I forget which one) someone asks Fonzie if he is in costume, & Fonzie(also wearing his leather jacket) says hes "Gene Kelly & likes singing in the rain
