I've had this happen before but never this "much". This morning I woke up at my usual 5:30 and stayed up for a while. Then I started getting tired again so laid back down. I started having this dream that I was at my old job. The building was different and I was sitting at a table (Kind of like in biology class with the long tables) with some other people.I left my phone on the table and walked across the room to the back to another table where we were looking at something. I could hear my phone alarm going off and decided to ignore it. I told people that it was just my alarm and that it would stop.

So then everyone files into this big room where our new mailboxes were. Instead of being on the wall, they were in these boxes that looked like magazine holders but about the width of a shoe box. Everyone was trying to find their mailboxes and I was searching down each aisle to find mine but I was having a hard time. They were in alphabetical order but while I was searching I kept hearing my alarm go off and I thought it was weird that I could hear it all the way in the other room.

I ended up waking up and... my alarm on my phone really was going off! So weird....

I have a book called the Dream Dictionary that one of the SO members sent me a while back so I'm going to look that up and see if it means anything. Kind of freaked me out though.

Ive had dreams like that before where I hear something and then it's happening when I wake up but not that intense. On that note it's a good thing I'm not working b/c I would have slept through my alarm!

I've had dreams where I was looking for a bathroom and sometimes I was in a bathroom, and then I woke up because I really had to go. LOL

I've had dreams of cats or dogs and when I'd wake up, a real cat or a real dog was meowing or barking outside. LOL

These are probably common things though.

I just saw how that website was laid out. I think if I tried to describe any of my dreams there, I'd crash it.

Yes! Sounds from the outside world are often incorporated into my dreams,

One of the strangest dreams I had were: You know how sometimes you can't WATCH yourself do something in a dream, like you are 2 people? Well I had one dream that took that to the next level; when I was just a little kid I dreamed my grandfather was carrying me across an icy ground, then the next thing I knew I was watching the whole scene from a distance, I was watching him carry me over the ice covered ground, then the next thing I knew, I was seeing the back of my own body and standing behind YET ANOTHER version of myself, watching the scene!! I was watching myself watch myself!

I had a dream once, really freaky, I was in my kitchen and an unknown man was there acting like he was my friend but I knew he was a killer. LOL, so I took a knife from the drawer and went over to stab him before he could kill me. I woke up just before I stabbed him.

I had a dream once where a man was going to shoot me and as soon as he pulled the trigger, I woke up.

Those dreams were years ago, luckily I haven't had any creepy ones like that recently.

I dreamed of BEING shot before, and it just feels like a slight sting, didn't really hurt. And once I was just SWATTING the bullets out of the way lol
