I'm inspired to start this thread because I'm watching "Collector's Call", and Lisa totally "fan-girled out" when the collector let her try on the jacket Steve Martin wore in his motorcycle number in "Little Shop of Horrors" (she said that movie's not really a genre she's into, but she'll watch anything if it has Steve Martin). She squealed and took her own jacket off, saying, "I'm gonna have Steve Martin's arms around me. He's gonna be holding me.:loveya:", lol, and she loved getting to try it on.

So, if YOU could try on ONE piece of wardrobe from all 9 seasons of "The Facts of Life"---and ONLY ONE---what would it be? :)

For me, off the top of my head, I will say I would want to try on the green raincoat Cindy wore in season 1's "Flash Flood". Those kind of raincoats look pretty unisex, it's my favorite color, green, and was worn by my favorite character, Cindy. Yes, I would totally "fan-boy out" if I tried on Cindy's green "Flash Flood" raincoat!! :loveya:

How about you?? :)

I don't think any of their clothes would fit me. I'm almost a foot taller than Julie Anne.

I would try on the uniform that the girls wore.

Eddie's sailor suit because I have no desire to put on teenage girl clothes.:lol::lol:

Probably the jacket that Steve wore on his date with Blair in his brothers van. It was so 1979/80.

That doesn't matter. I'm taller than anybody here, and I would still try it on, as best I could. It's not about the fit, it's about the experience.

So try again. ;)

(just pretend measurements don't matter; if you could have the chance, what piece of wardrobe it would be)

Or, if the idea of "fit" is too hard to get around, then what ONE piece of wardrobe would you handle if you had the opportunity; to touch it and hold it?

Oh, and looking at Cindy's rainwear, it turns out it's not a raincoat, it's a poncho. So here's Cindy's green poncho! :loveya:

Any girl's specifically?

Well, it's not about "crossdressing" (unless someone enjoys that), just a deep love for a TV show that's a part of our lives. :)

For instance, you love Blair so much, if you wanted to "fan-boy out" you could try on a jacket or a hat or a watch she wore that's not too "girly", lol.

I would also borrow Mr. Bradley's aviator sunglasses.

Oh, if we're talking handling, for me there's no doubt it would be an Eastland uniform. Most ideally a traditional burgundy uniform, but even a blue sweater, blue blazer, or even the yellow and blue tracksuits, or the yellow track uniforms. Even Kimberly's gray uniform would be cool to touch. But ideally, the burgundy one would be the best. Like touching a piece of history.

If I was going to try something on... hmmm... maybe Jo's army fatigues. I could momentarily be "Joe"!

You'd look awesome in that rain poncho! And I wonder if it's still around, somewhere.

It's funny because, as you know, my sister fell in love with Tootie's little red raincoat in that exact same episode, and had to get one for herself.

We do know at least two people who did get Sue Ann's and Molly's track uniforms. We know who got Mollys, but I wonder who got Sue Ann's?

They were sold together. I'm pretty sure Mikey the Fanboy must still have both Molly and Sue Ann's track uniforms. (There was no way he was going to fit into Sue Ann's track jacket: he's very big, towering over Lindsay).

But that's her hair. You have to pick an actual piece of wardrobe. ;)

Don't know if this counts as "wardrobe," it's more of an accessory. But I've always wanted the lighting bolt hat that Natalie had in "Take My Finals, Please." I've thought of going to arts and crafts store to make my very own.
