I see the opening is similar to Alice lol driving down a country road. About to watch the episode with Mel and found out how he made his way to Houston

Never was a big fan of the show, but those eps with Flo were the best ones.

Since I started looking at the show again I didnt know she had another phrase besides kiss my grits

I watched this not too long ago. To me it seemed like there were too many normal characters. The chain smoking piano player, the blond waitress, the bartender and Flo’s mom were just normal folks. Her sister Fran was mildly neurotic but not in a fun way. Even Flo had to be more straight/serious as the lead. Flo’s mom could’ve been “Flo times ten” and the staff at The Yellow Rose a bunch of kooks and cut-ups. The show wasn’t bad but it wasn’t all that good either.

This show was clearly setup for the Flo character to succeed or fail since she moved out of state and had become a owner. So it was no way she was going to come all the way back to Pheonix and work as a waitress again so it made sense that she never came back
