In 1993 an R&B group named Zhane "Pronounced Jah-Nay" debuted on the music scene with the song Sending My Love To You from their debut album and made Zhane a popular group in the pop scene. Other hits from Zhane's debut album were Vibe Hey DJ Groove Thing and You're Sorry Now. Zhane also did a wonderful cover of Evelyn Champagne King's hit Shame as well. In 1997 Zhane released their second album Saturday Night which produced the single Request Line and also contained a cover of Billy Joel's For The Longest Time before splitting up.
