How most of the commercials on these stations are for life insurance, incontinence products, hearing aids, glasses, walkers, etc? Do they think that people who watch those stations are old or something? Oh wait...
I have. BUZZR happened to show an AARP commercial yesterday as well.

Right, they do. I have an AARP card though, so those don't make me feel too bad!

I've noticed this and it makes me wonder who and how old their target audience is.
It's kind of sad that they think only one age demographic has an interest in these shows. I guess statistically speaking they're probably right though.

When you get the general picture if you look at all the channels such as FETV METV Antenna TV you'll see that their target audience is usually now 50 to 65 and so that tells you what audience that they're aiming at and that's why METV and FETV have so many commercials on things such as life insurance motorized scooters/wheelchairs medical ads and other stuff that caters to the senior citizen crowd. Even Buzzr and GSN show these ads especially these type of commercials are huge on GSN when their target audience used to be 18-25 but now when you look at GSN's target audience is now 65 and up because game shows are huge hits with the elderly because it helps them exercise their thinking skills. But if METV and FETV and Antenna TV could come up with an idea to attract the young generation to their channels it would help them score huge ratings with the young watchers
