I was watching The Boat Builders yesterday on my Smart TV app and in a couple of scenes where the boys were going to test out the boat, the incidental music was from the opening song in Gilbert & Sullivan's operetta HMS Pinafore We Sail the Ocean Blue. Feel free to post if you recognized the piece when you saw the episode.

Good observation. I knew it was some sort of seafaring song and you are right. They often picked a perfect selection for the moment. I believe we hear La Marseillaise when June opens her Parisian blouse in June's Birthday. How about in Beaver Plays Hooky we hear Chopin's Funeral March when Beaver comes in to see Miss Landers.

By the way, anyone notice after Beaver falls into the pond the three boys don't really know what to do. Wally obviously was the one who had to go in and get Beaver however Wally's pants are completely dry. I guess they didn't think we would notice as we were looking at Beaver shiver. They probably only wanted one actor at a time to get all wet.

I never really pay attention to the music but I probably should. However it's a good excuse to watch the episode again!

Right that jazzy snippet and love Ward’s face first time he sees it. Funny Eddie was the one who started the haircomb but we never see him at all.

How can they think that anyone could fit in a bucket? Just because that hole is all you see in the top a kayak, that doesn't mean that's how much space in inside.
