Beginning in 1988 through 1994 Comfort Inn began using well known celebrities to promote special deals at the motel chain and featured celebrities getting out of suitcases. Some of the celebrities featured in the commercials were The Golden Girls Rue McClanahan actor Jack Palance Get Smart's Don Adams and Wheel Of Fortune's Vanna White. It's really a shame today that Comfort Inn don't use celebrities to promote their motels much anymore but these commercials are great to look at if you are a fan of these celebrities
