Okay, call me crazy, but she's not a bad singer at all. I love her song from "Freaky Friday" (the one where Jamie Lee Curtis did the guitar solo), and also the theme from "Teenage Drama Queen, but last night I found some more of her videos that I'd never seen before. I really liked a couple of them, especially this song called "Over".

Her personal life aside, does anyone else here like her music? They don't really promote her music that much, which is weird. I thought she was only doing it b/c she was under contract through Disney since all of those kids seem to be required to sing, but apparently not.

Anyway, I'm not very good at doing links, so this is her song, "Over". It gets a little weird toward the end, but the song is great. It's from 2009, apparently, so I guess I just missed it.

It may seem that when you are a Disney star one of the big rules of your contract is that you are required to sing and perhaps record an album. As we saw with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera and JC Chasez and Justin Timberlake of NSYNC and Corbin Bleu Ashley Tisdale Raven-Symone and other Disney stars that have expanded into singing careers. Lindsay Lohan is another prime example when she first gained stardom in The Parent Trap remake but her Disney career skyrocketed when she released Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen from the movie of the same name they knew that Lindsay Lohan would be huge in music. And so although like Ashley Tisdale who was not signed to Disney's music label but signed to Warner Brothers Records Lindsay Lohan was signed to Casablanca Records and when she released her debut CD Speak the singles First Over and Rumors proved that she wasn't just another pop star and she proved it well. But ever since the release of her second album A Little More Personal and the release of the song and video Confession Of A Broken Heart "Daughter To Father" Lindsay Lohan's image had changed and because of it the album didn't sell well. But I do hope Lindsay shapes up and releases another album because she sounded great as a singer and I didn't think she could sing until I bought Speak to be honest
