Who made more money, Ward Cleaver or Jim Anderson?

Whose house was nicer?

Which one had a better-educated wife?

Which wife did the deeper cleaning of the house?

Which family would you rather have dinner with?

Well, we know Jim's exact job was an insurance salesman, and only generally that Ward was in marketing of some sort, maybe a bigwig, since he had a corner office and Fred was probably under him. So I'll say Ward made more.

House--I liked the layout of both houses. In the Anderson house each kid had her or his own bedroom, so that house I'd say was bigger, so I'd say nicer. The new Cleaver house was more up to date, since it was a newer show.

Oh--tough one on the wives. We know Margaret went to college and I think June went to Junior college, and both presumably studied home economics. We don't know Margaret actually graduated, but if she did, I'll say Margaret.

Deeper cleaning--easy one--I'll say June. But Margaret was much more informal and more casually dressed around the house, so she'd run a close second. Plus, she had Betty to help a lot.

Who to have dinner with--that's a tough one. Margaret and the Andersons made reference to leftovers, and once had hamburgers on Thanksgiving. June never had leftovers or at least there was never reference to them, so I'll say June for that.

Now if either of these families had Hazel as a maid, answers could be changed!
