Let’s name some moments when the boys cost Ward (and June) a chunk of change.
I’ll start with the time Ward had to pay for a new pane of glass in the house window and later a new car window.

Re-plastering the kitchen ceiling after Beaver let the tub run over.
Getting the accordion repaired after it fell down the stairs.

Good ones.
Wally always needed money like $6 to get the walkie talkie fixed, a $7.50 orchid and he also gave Wally a $22 advance when he got a job selling igloo bars for his freezer on wheels.

When Wally bought the second car maybe Ward helped but I think Wally had the money saved up.
And I guess Ward finally got his dollar back that he gave Beaver for the 25 cent notebook. Then there was the kite, the new golf club (technically broken by Ward), Junes' birthday gift from the boys, the girls' sweater for Beaver, the snazzy jacket like Richard's. Did Beaver buy the (wrong-size) skates with his money?

Yup he used his own money to buy his sweater and his skates.
Ward probably got the ring fixed that had to be cut off Beaver’s finger. That would have cost a few bucks.
He rented a parrot for $10 and had to find a home for Nick at Payton’s farm at $10 a month. He also bought Beaver a hamster.

Oh, that's right. And he still got in trouble for ditching the sweater. He could have said, well, it was my money.
