Do they ever mention Reverend Alden's wife after this episode? I know Harriet was opposed to him getting married and *Spoiler Alert*, he does marry at the end of the episode but in a following episode he returns to Walnut Grove. Charles asks how he is doing but there's no mention of his wife. It's not surprising and probably they forgot that he got married (the writers), but since they made such a big deal out of it, you'd think they would have mentioned it more often.


I just watched the episode where Almanzo proposed to Laura and Nellie and Percival got married, so maybe it's mentioned after that.
