Yeah, there definitely was a decline. But I think the causation was actually Mrs. G gradually being put out to pasture.

I don't think there was yet. Mrs. Garrett was heavily involved with EE and her girls.

The major causation is when Edna's Edibles burned down and was replaced with the horrendous Over Our Heads

I totally disagree. As hideous as that haircut was on her, she did some of her best scenes wearing it. The Jermaine Jackson episode if one of my favorite with her. I love how hysterical she gets with Mrs. Garret over seeing him, and in the end when she has her realization moment. One of Kim's best episodes of the series imo.

I have to agree then. She did look SO much better when she got rid of it, but I can see it starting to go off the rails a little in the 6th season. But there are some really great episodes still....I'm just dreading the final 3 seasons because people don't seem to like them at all. (valentina i'm looking at you!) :wave::wave:

I feel similarly to Valentina... However, there are some good episodes mixed in with the other episodes. 8-01, 8-02, and 8-06 are classics, and I also enjoy 9-23 and 9-24. I can't find anything redeemable in Season 7. Except maybe 7-01.

The show has plenty of great episodes in the later years. The writing was hit or miss in the later years but a haircut being a jump the shark moment seems preposterous to me.

Season 7 has only got one episode i like: 'Out of the fire' (before they built 'Over our heads') but that's it!

Do you like the one where Blair is stuck in the elevator with her sister and the holocaust survivor? That one always stood out in my memory because it was kind of a serious one and we get to see a different side of Blair.

I forgot which season it was but I caught it last year during the Decades marathon, and still found it just as good as I remembered.

Yes, I love the Twilight Zone! I caught a bunch of them on Netflix a few years ago but still haven't seen them all. The ones I remember that freaked me out were the woman driving the car and the hitch hiker kept appearing. That was so creepy.

And another one where a woman is alone in a department store...I forgot what happened but I remember it was so eerie. And of course the fun one where everyone ugly is considered beautiful and the beautiful woman was considered a hideous monster. I have to eventually get the whole dvd collection of that series.
