I'm dedicating this to thread to valentina warner who probably loves Blair even more than me! :happyface

What's everyone's favorite Blair moment of the entire series? (I'm still getting through it, so I can only pick from what i've seen so far.)

My favorite Blair moment is the watch episode I just saw this week. At the end in the court when she explains to Jo why she brought her to court was seeing who she truly is under the shallow facade. It's so far my favorite scene of her because there's none of her usual pretense here at all. (of which i'm never bothered by anyway!)

Well thank you for the dedication cfr1970: i feel so honoured now!:wave::wave:

My favourite BLAIR moment is a hard one cos i love all of them, but if i had to pick up one, it'll be the one on the episode 'Rough housing':
i just love the fact that you see a real transformation in BLAIR (after MRS G works on her).
From 'conceited' and 'cruel', she turns 'humble' and 'warm' towards the end, and the hug she gives CINDY is more than obvious to me, that underneath that 'shallow facade' she always puts on, she hides a tender heart....

Wow! such a contrast and that girl is definitely more than meet the eyes!

Overall i'll say: ALL the episodes with BLAIR and MRS G moments, are my favourites! :happyface:happyface:happyface

There's so many great Blair moments that it's hard to pick just one. In the Eastland years I think her best moment was in Kids Can Be Cruel. She decides to have dinner with Carl regardless of what others would think of her because Carl was made fun of for the way he looked.

In the Edna's Edibles years my favorite Blair moment is in The Last Drive In when she accidentally knocks out the girl that's been hounding her. It cracks me up every time when the girls say Blair decked her and Blair doesn't catch on until a few seconds later and says, "Yes, I did do the decking."

In the Over Our Heads years there's quite a few funny moments. I like the scene where she's handcuffed to Jo in 3, 2, 1. Jo's under the table while Blair is reading the news and hands her a note she just written. Blair looks shocked at the camera saying, "I just been handed this." I laugh every time at that. Fast Food from season 8 is another great episode featuring a lot of funny Blair moments. There's so many it's hard pinpointing which is the best or favorite one for Blair.

I can't wait to see this Rough housing episode. It seems to get talked around here a lot as a fan favorite. It'll come back around soon on Antenna TV but I think i'd rather wait till I have the dvd to see it completely uncut. I don't want to miss any good Blair moments that may be edited out.

I can't believe I forgot about "Kids can be cruel"! That's most definitely one of Blair's best moments of the series. I also love the end when the closing credits start and you know they're just ad libbing with each other on the couch, though we can't hear them. It makes it seem all the more realistic.

Jo & Blair get handcuffed together?! OMG! Even though it's a tired and overused plot, (Lucy, Three's Company) that sounds like a lot of fun with those 2 characters. I don't remember that seeing one and really looking forward it! Just the thought of it is :lol::lol:

I watched season 1 back in Jan. when it started on Antenna TV, but honestly didn't pay much attention to the episodes until Jo comes in because that to me has always been the "real" start of the series. (ducking from the Lost Girls fans)

I saw a few eps...the flood one comes to mind and the IQ one. But Rough housing I can't recall any of it at all so I have to wait till it comes back around on Antenna TV.

I got the season 1 & 2 combo dvd, but they don't have closed captions on the season 1 dvd. Only on season 2...so season 1 is a coaster to me until I get the complete series set, hopefully next month.

Yep. Blair and Natalie had some great episodes in the series, but this one is their best. It also resembles the movie "Mean Girls" with their slambook. I like this episode a lot because it shows so much how cruelty can really hurt someone and not showing how much it bothers them.

I hope when you get to the Over Our Heads seasons, they don't cut the episodes too bad to where they don't make sense. I think if the fans who don't care for seasons 7 and 8 were able to see them uncut, they might feel differently.

 I bet it's like that for majority of fans for this show. The format of the four girls lasted 8 years and was successful so that's probably what most fans remember when thinking of this show.

I forgot about the slambook. I wonder if was really a popular thing in schools at the time because I never saw them in my schools. It seems such a cruel thing for kids to do. :(

After learning how much is apparently being edited on Antenna TV, I tune in knowing that big chunks are missing. So everything's getting a full re-watch when the complete series comes. I almost want to stop tuning into broadcast until I get the DVDs, but I need my weekday FOL fix at 3pm!

Oh, it definitely is for the majority, and especially for the average viewer.

The format of the four girls lasted 8 years

Well, technically, there never was a format of four girls. First it was 7 girls and 2 women and 1 man, then it was 5 females for several years, than 5 females and 1 male, then 5 females and 2 males, then 6 females and 1 male.

But I know what you mean, lol. ;)

I know that's what Julie said, but Retro posts scripts and that part was definitely in the script along with a cut Mrs Garrett line about Blair inhaling calories. Maybe they kept Lisa from knowing about it though.

I'm so glad you brought this up, Lorimar, because as soon as the Reelz documentary was over, I ran to my shelf where I keep the FOL/DS scripts and opened up "Dieting" to see why *I* remembered Sue Ann pushing Blair's face into the rice pudding in the script, while Julie Pie says it was unscripted.

The script does indeed have Sue Ann pushing Blair's face into the pudding. As you correctly mention, the script has a line from Mrs. Garrett about Blair inhaling calories, which was either cut in a later script, or they cut it because Blair's reaction is so hilarious.

It's possible, as you say, that they didn't let Lisa know about the end of the scene. Or maybe Julie Pie wasn't supposed to push Lisa's face in so forcefully. Either way, Lisa sure looks genuinely shocked!

And shame on Julie Pie for spreading false information in the Reelz documentary! :nonono:

BUT, we have to remember, she is in her 50s and this was 40 years ago. It's only natural for actors to misremember things or get "facts" mixed up after so many decades, especially if they haven't watched that certain material in so long. I've caught Vicki Lawrence in a few mistakes as well. And Ken Berry claimed 3 different actors played the same son of Mama's in "Family" sketches on "The Carol Burnett Show" when in fact all 3 actors played 3 different sons! lol
