I'm getting there......... 21/31
Anyone else doing this??
Warm & Fuzzy 06-25-2002, 09:07 PM uugh, I know the answers to MOST of the questions, however, I'm 100% clueless about 3-5 of them. >=/
jayman75 06-25-2002, 10:42 PM I thought that we were supposed to post our answers on here, so I kept doing them then editing and adding, etc etc...
Someone probably copied all mine and is gonna beat me out. :(
I hope that we can re-email the answers if we have more to give.
Kay Scarpetta 06-25-2002, 10:43 PM Alright, number 17 is a REALLY annoying question. I can't think of the six states she didn't visit! Obviously it's Alaska and Hawaii, but as to the other 4, I can't figure them out. And I better find the answers before tomorrow, because I leave early Thursday and won't be back until AFTER the Fourth of July..... the deadline.
To make matters worse, I found the answers to EVERYTHING else, and I've been spending 2 and a half hours on the same question! :crying:

Aw :crying: Don't worry, I said I had all but number 17, but I didn't copy you! I read this before you posted your answers. But I highly doubt I'll get it anyways. I can't find number 17!!!
jayman75 06-25-2002, 10:50 PM I know four of them... at least I think I do... :)

jayman75 07-07-2002, 08:50 PM Here it is from July 7 journal entry:
P.S. The winner of the Family Dream Trivia Contest is Laurie Clay of Springview, Nebraska. She, along with four others, got 30 out of 31 answers correct! Laurie just got hers in the soonest.
The original questions are archived on the website on June 26th. Here are the answers:
1) Mr. & Mrs. Bob Tiffin
2) “Finding God in America” (This book has been set aside temporarily because it was too hard to enjoy the trip if I had to write a book about it. Instead I’m working on the homeschool book.)
3) “Buster”
4) The Dodge Caravan
5) Being in the parade
6) “The Boy Who Could Fly”
7) Cracker Barrel
8) San Francisco
9) Yellowstone National Park

11) Harry and David’s, Herr’s Snacks, Martin Guitars, Byers Choice, Tiffin Motorhomes, Creative Memories, Louisville Slugger, Ben & Jerry’s, Nanticoke Homes, Crayola, Cabot Cheese
12) Kenny Wallace
13) I rented a theater, invited all of Steve’s friends, and had a private showing of his favorite movie, “The Boy Who Could Fly.”
14) Scrapbook of the filming
15) Texas 42 domino game
16) Entertainment Tonight
17) Maine, Nebraska, Kansas, Hawaii, Alaska, North Dakota
18) Two, Scott and Julie
19) Wal-Mart

Alright a Nebraskan won ya. That's funny just 2 days ago I drove through Springview and I said to myself I wonder how lisa's Triva deal went.
Ags2000 07-08-2002, 12:47 AM Actually, #23 is wrong. They didn't meet Morgan Freeman, they met Louis Gosset Jr while in Canada. I emailed Lisa already and told her that was wrong. I even included the journal entry.
Who knows, maybe I'll get something for pointing out an error :)

That must be the question everybody 'missed'. Still there can't be any doubt about the winner.
Congratulations to everybody that followed the entries that closely, wow!
Kay Scarpetta 07-08-2002, 11:10 AM Ick! I would have gotten the actor one wrong too. I asked Jenny and she said it was that Lou guy but then I asked.... who was it... *ponders thoughts* someone on this board and they said it was Morgan Freeman. So I picked out of a hat. :(

Oh yeah, I know. I missed 3 :( I got the states wrong, I couldn't remember which Wallace brother they met, and something else I don't remember now.

BTW, "Buster" reminds me of 'Arthur'...
KarenTj24 07-15-2002, 12:54 PM For the record, when I submitted the Family Dream Trip trivia questions and answers to Lisa for her to use in the contest, the answer to #23 read Louis Gossett, Jr. Don't know how or why the change was made to her post.
When I corrected the entries, I used Louis Gossett, Jr. as the correct answer.

Please tell Lisa to come visit this site. She may be a little surprised by the great following that FOL has, but I know that so many of us would appreciate her coming on.
And thanks again for the trivia questions. It was a lot of fun!

That goes double for me. Those trivia questions were ALOT of fun. It really challenged me to try to remember the answers. LOL If you have the time, come up with some more. Better yet, maybe we can come up with some of our own to try to stump people.
