Last Weekend...there was NO #1 Film due to the Coronavirus!

This will happen this and next weekend as well!

^^This is because weekend box-office reporting has been suspended for the time being because of the Coronavirus Pandemic. With almost every single movie theater in America being closed, such reporting would be null and void anyway.

Now a lot of the current theatrical releases are going to flop horribly at the box-office. For example, Onward has a budget of US$175 to 200 million, and has grossed just $104 million so far. How will they gross-back their budgets now?

A lot of current theatrical releases are getting early Video on Demand releases. I am not sure if the revenue generated by those will be enough? I'm not sure if the current theatrical releases' windows will resume once the pandemic is over (which would mean the theatrical windows for future major film releases of 2020 will be disrupted as a consequence of the pandemic).
