Showrunner Andrew Dabb announced on Twitter today that although filming on Episode 18 of the final season was completed before the coronavirus, tonight's Episode 13 "will be our last episode for awhile" because “our visual effects and sound departments have closed because of the outbreak. So, right now, the episodes can’t be finished.”
I suppose there are other shows facing the same problem as Supernatural. It's kind of a bummer.

It is a bummer. We have to wait until the fall to see the last 7 episodes. I hope The CW just airs them straight through. We've waited this long to see the ending. It would suck to have it come back and then do repeats in between the episode airings. Personally I think they should just release the last 7 episodes on the DVD / Blu Ray release instead of making them air on the CW first. It would help the sales IMO.
If it's going to be in the Fall before they show the last few episodes, won't that interfere with the CW's Fall line-up? I was hoping it would air during the summer. I guess I'll just have to wait several more months to see it.

We'll have Supernatural back on Thursday nights in the fall for the last 7 episodes. I just hope it's straight through and no breaks in between.
