Looks like according to the Live Theatre Gang Site, Laz is in another show & writes songs too! Good luck with the show!

http://www.livetheatregang.com/

Here is a blurb on it from the site:

1 hour and 45 minutes of wackiness!” That’s how producer/cast member, Lazaro Viciedo describes his upcoming show “The Peanut Gallery”. And after a host of shows in and around the New Jersey area, The Peanut Gallery is gearing up for what promises to be an explosive New York City debut. Two years ago, four acting majors at Ramapoe College (in New Jersey) decided there was not enough on-campus entertainment, so the four of them put their heads together and ended up creating a “Monty Python-ish” sketch comedy team called The Peanut Gallery. It was a winner, not only did ‘The Gallery’ have audiences in stitches, but they addressed issues on the minds of students everywhere.

Blending slapstick, with music and witty satire, ‘The Gallery’ always leaves its audience with something to go home with, even if it’s the silly, but incredibly catchy hook line to their original song “Baby Got Drunk”. “I didn’t have a radio in my car,” recalls Lazaro Viciedo lyricist of ‘Baby Got Drunk,’ “I just started making up songs and that was the first thing that came to my head. It’s not about anyone in particular.” (Except maybe every college party at Ramapoe but you didn’t hear that from me).

Heads will be turning when these future sketch comedy stars enter the New York Comedy Club on July 7th. “You never know what to expect,” says Laz, “I believe there’s no such thing as right and wrong, only fun and boring.” Taking ques from such comedy giants as Charlie Chaplin, Jackie Gleason, and Freddie Prinze, Laz and his cohorts will definitely have us all on our toes; and doubling over with laughter. The Peanut Gallery will be at the New York Comedy Club on July 7th at 5pm, make sure you reserve early cause you don’t wanna miss this!

Way to go Laz!!!
We can't wait to see this show too. He was outstanding in the great Comedians of Color. I am sure he will be wonderful in this one as well. Mariposa and I will be making the trek again to the NY Comedy club to show our support! Good luck, Laz, mi amigo!
This is one young man on his way to the top!

Thanks! Actually how I found out about it is... They are some free web site checking sites where you can have it check any website you want to see if it has been changed or updated & it'll check the site every day for you & when it's been updated send you a copy of the page via e-mail. Unfortunately it's not always so accurate as it'll e-mail ya saying the page has been updated & the only thing changed on the page is the days date or an ad that's on the page to pay for it. Still it is a lifesaver for me cuz I have it checking out the Freddie boards that aren't written on very often to tell me if they have been written on & Freddie & Arlo sites & sites with Arlo concerts on them to see if they have been updated & it lets me know when the site is updated without me having to go to hundreds of sites every day & yet I don't miss the new messages & things added to the site. I had it set up to check out the LIVE THEATRE GANG site to keep up with the Laz & Freddie stuff. If I find out more I'll let you know. :)

Well our amigo Laz's show is this Sunday at 5pm at the New York Comedy Club. I hope everyone will keep this talented young star in thoughts and prayers this weekend. I always like to think that this is Freddie's way of giving us a chance to support a young man like he would have loved the support from us if we had but known him back then. Mariposa and I will be traveling to see the show, so pray for us too. It is supposed to be hot this weekend in NYC and neither of us likes the heat very well.
Laz, bebe, break a leg Sunday night! And that is for your whole Peanut group, so pass along the message!
I did up two pictures of Laz. The one wallpaper I sent him already, but the other was my first attempt. I hope he doesn't mind that I share them with you. I really feel in my heart that he will be a big star someday real soon!

I use 3 of them. For websites where you you need to go to the site to actually read them like message boards that are threaded similar to this I use Change Detection & SpyOnIt:

http://www.changedetection.com/

http://www.spyonit.com/Home

It doesn't attach a copy of the page in the e-mail, just e-mails ya that the site has been updated & the urrl to it.

For the sites/pages where I can read the pages in my mail without having to go to the site like say guestbooks or fan fictions, picture pages or concert listings & such I use Web 2 Mail.

http://www.web2mail.com

They attach a copy of the page in the e-mail so you can actually read the page in the e-mail. PageGetter does that too.

There is Page Getter. http://www.pagegetter.com but they only allow ya so many pages free & if you want more than that or to have pages sent on a regular schedule then you have to order a subscription to them. So therefore I don't use them very much.

With Web2mail & PageGetter if you want to right then & there have a page from a website mailed to ya without being on a schedule for it like say you get a link to a page off a website in the e-mail. You can e-mail them & have them send ya a copy of the page thru e-mail. With Web2Mail It does seem to take a while tho to get a reply. It's not quite as reliable as as having it sent on a schedule. PageGetter is more reliable for that but only allows ya so many pages thru mails a month for free.

I used to use Netmind/Netminder but they went to pay & quit being free. So I had to quit using them.

https://www.pumatech.com/mindit/order1.tpl

I saw on their site where they aren't taking any new orders.

If ya use Change Detection or SpyOnIt to check out message boards etc for ya to see if they are updated. If ya don't need to write on the boards but just read only you can copy the urrl of the boards & have Web2mail or PageGetter e-mail ya with a copy of the page. If ya need to click on links on the page to read the mssages like links to topics/threads, just right click on the thread name which is usually link highlighted & select copy shortcut. The insert that link in an e-mail to Web2Mail or PageGetter & you can get that thread by mail.

Also not you will get updates saying a page has been updated cuz the program will find where stuff like ads on a page which are there to help pay for it & make the site free or whatever or the days date has changed & it detects that as being a change on the page even thos it's no changes on the page. No problem there. Yu just read the mail & delete when ya see no real changes. It's much better than missing out on real changes.

Hope this helps! They have been a Godsend for me as I can easily keep up with all the Freddie sites & Arlo concert listings & stuff etc. No more going to message boards that don't get written on very often on a daily basis only to see no new messages & then if you skip going for awhile cuz of no messages on there that's when new messages came in & you missed them. A real time saver. I still spend half my life online still tho LOL! :)

Good luck!

Just got back home and I am too tired to type, but I had to let everyone know what a wonderful show Laz and his troupe, the Peanut Gallery, put on last night! Their sketches were soooo funny, with stand-up and slapstick comedy and even original songs--one of them written and sung by Laz! (He does have the sweetest voice, very much like Freddie's, even when singing a very goofy song!) Between sketches there were short black-and-white films a la the Obsession perfume and Got Milk? commercials and sci-fi movie trailers projected on a screen to one side of the stage, and these were also hysterical! The place was packed and everyone was screaming with laughter.

Luckymama and I were sooo proud to witness the results of all of Laz's hard work as both producer and actor! His colleagues were obviously also very talented and had worked very hard. We were able to spend a little time with him later, having coffee and talking about this show and all the other exciting things that are happening in his career. Please keep him in your prayers as he continues his rise to stardom!

Hello from Mariposa's!
I am having a great time visiting with mi Freddie hermana. As she has so eloquently stated, The show was fantastic. The Club was packed with family, friends and fans of the peanut gallery troupe. I was privileged to have sat next to the father of one of the troupe members, Josh Ritter. He saw that I was taking pictures during the show and introduced himself later as Josh's dad. He asked me if he could obtain copies of the pictures and I said sure if they come out OK. I told him I was taking them for Laz to post on his website, www.thepeanutgallery.info . He asked how I had met Laz and I got to share with him our Freddie connection and the internet. He was a very sweet person. Some of the commercials that the troupe had filmed were taken on a farm. Being that they are all city folk, I had wondered about this, but it turns out that Josh's dad owns the farm. We had a nice conversation while we were waiting for the cast to come out after the show.
The pictures were taken without flash with 1600 speed film, so I hope they turn out. We are hoping to find a one hour photo place soon so I can check out my photography skills. I will be giving them to Laz, as I said, and you all will be able to view them on his site.
We had the opportunity to meet with Laz later and spent time sitting and talking over coffee. I could tell that he was very tired from all of his efforts, so I was very grateful for the time he afforded us. He is such a sweet person and I know he will go far. He did tell us that there is a possibility that the live theater gang might be able to reach a wider audience with the Great Comedians of Color show. Pray that the auditions they have coming up to enter them in the Conn. Comedy festival go great and they will be able to be a part of this. I know the show is a quality show and Laz's part as Freddie will be one of the thing that will help them win a spot (I'm not too biased, am I? ) What a way for OUR PRINZE to get some exposure through the talents of our amigo, Laz.
I do hope one day you all will be able to see Laz in action. He is a very talented young man and a wonderful person.
Thank you Laz and company for an enjoyable evening of laughter. :)

WoW...... Glad to hear that he's doing fine. One day he'll become famous and I can see Lucky and Mariposa in those front seats cheering him on. (Just like Cheryl and Arlo)........ You 2 are the ultimate cheering squad for him. I know he's happy.......

I wish him continued success and good fortune with his talent.........

Come to think of it I bet Freddie had a cheering squad of his own in those front seats. I wonder who they were?

Well the pictures are developed and I was able to get 10 shots out of the 26 I took. Some of the other negatives look printable but the CVS photo machine couldn't print them. I am taking all the negatives to someplace more photo professional to see if I can get more. I gave them to Laz and when he gets a chance, I am sure he will post them on his site www.thepeanutgallery.info I don't want to steal his thunder. He is busy right now with auditions and rehearsals for other shows. It might take him a bit, so please be patient with him. Pray that the next few weeks go great for him, he has a lot doing!

Hi Luckymama!
Glad you got your pictures done, but darn it, I wish I could've seen them first! LOL The reason I say that is because I have a scanner that reads negatives and I could've printed them for you. I used to work in a photo lab (my secret's out now;)), so I know a thing or two about bringing them out. Oh well! Maybe next time! :D

I hope Laz doesn't mind me mentioning this, but he and the other members of the Live Theatre Gang really needs your prayers for a very important audition today! It is for the Connecticut Comedy Festival. Here is the URL for the website that explains it in more detail (it is for the theatre at which the Festival is held):

http://www.sevenangelstheatre.org/page7.html

This is what Laz told Luckymama and me about it when we saw him last Sunday: The rest of the cast of "Great Comedians of Color" was at the first round of auditions, but Laz couldn't make those because of rehearsals for the Peanut Gallery show and the Shakespeare play in which he will also be appearing in August. His fellow LTG members made it through the first round, and one of them told Laz that if he would come up there today for the second round and do his act as Freddie, they would be sure to get into the Festival! I happen to agree wholeheartedly with that LOL!

Winning at this festival could lead to a national tour of comedy clubs and also TV exposure on PBS. So I am letting all the rest of you know in order that we can, as Lucky says, "Storm the gates of heaven" with prayers for the Live Theatre Gang's continued success! Thanx mucho!

Well, our Freddie friend, Laz is off on his month long tour with a Shakespeare company in the NY area. He will be performing King Oberon in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in the NYC and Mass. area. Good luck to you, mi amigo. Break a leg and have a great time.

Here is the blurb from the company's site:

http://www.aislingarts.com/#top

A Midsummer Night's Dream

Due to an ancient law and parental influence, four star-crossed lovers must flee ancient Athens and depart for a wooded forest. At the same time, Oberon, the Fairy King, and Titannia, the Fairy Queen, are embroiled in a marital battle of their own over a wee changeling boy. When the two worlds collide, nothing but mayhem ensues. Full of magic, romance, poetry and humor, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM is one of Shakespeare's most beloved comedies.

Performed by our ensemble of actors, A Midsummer Night's Dream will be performend in parks and public gardens throughout Ney York City and Massachusetts. All performances will be free of charge with a suggested donation of $5. Please see the Free Shakespeare Project page to see when A Midsummer Night's Dream will be in your area!!!
